North Coast Hot Jobs Oct. 24

Hello job seekers. If you find any links that don't send you where they should, then let me know. Here is the link to this week's North Coast Hot Jobs listing, https://www.scribd.com/document/328770002/North-Coast-Hot-Jobs-Oct-24

Sorry for no North Coast Hot Jobs listing last week. I had some personal stuff to take care of.

Is your career field in demand within a certain area? Before you relocate to another area or go to college in hopes of getting an education and then moving to a specific region, you should first consult the Occupational Information Network (O*Net). This free online web service provides you with a idea of what the status of a particular occupation is within a certain area. You can determine whether your specialty is in demand, not in demand or somewhere in between. Their website is located here, http://www.onetonline.org/

You can type in a keyword in the Occupation Search block, such as "computer" or look under the "Find Occupations" heading. When you click on one of the many results, you can find out whether the outlook is bright or not in a certain area. Look before you leap.

If you know of any Alaskan Native or Native American that has physical or mental disabilities and is having a hard time looking for work, ask them to contact me at 360-460-7549.

Have a good one.
