Recently McKinley Paper Company (which recently purchased the Nippon Mill) sent a representative to the area to discuss their purchase. One key point they made was that the mill is scheduled to re-open in 2018. When we are out of work, we usually don't have as much money coming in as we did before. Some of us have even struggled to put food on the table for our families after paying the rent and/or a car payment. We are forced to tuck away our pride and go to DSHS to see if we qualify for food stamps.
